Alluminate Accessories originate in an environmental community development project in Santo Ângelo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. 90% of your online purchase price goes to the neighborhood where the purses are hand-made, and 10% helps Susila Dharma to help other grass roots projects around the world.
A Child’s Garden of Peace works with children and adults in Brazil to do recycling, clean up trash and plant school and community gardens. The community women formed a cooperative called Realizing Dreams to create income by using post consumer aluminum pull tabs to make purses, belts and dog collars by hand.
Your purchase of an Alluminate Accessory supports twenty women artisans to increase their business and helps neighborhood youth to go to college. The scholarship recipients give 4 hours daily to the younger children to help maintain the community garden, help with homework, do recreational activities and plant trees. The children benefit, the neighborhood benefits. Your purse purchase helps fulfill many dreams.
